Lost Valley

We got to go to my favorite place in Arkansas last weekend, the Buffalo River Valley. We have had heavy rain here over the past couple weeks with record daily highs. So we knew the water would be running at Lost Valley. It is such a beautiful trail with a natural bridge, a couple of caves and lots of waterfalls. This is our 3rd trip with the boys and they love this trail too. Now to the pictures:
At the trail head there is a bridge that crosses the creek, well they water level was so high that it washed it out!
Here is the middle of the bridge about 100 yards down stream...



And here is the other part of the bridge. Pretty amazing!











The exciting thing from this trip was that both boys went in the Eden Falls Cave at the top of the trail. You go in and you have to squeeze through a passage way and then you come to an amazing indoor water fall. Steven said Andrew was scared but glad he went... i waited outside, been there done that!!
