Today was a really nice day, the calm before the storm. We had to get out of the house and enjoy the weather and my car is getting new tires, so we walked. I think it was 1/2 a mile to the creek and lake. William did really well walking and Andrew enjoyed the stroller ride.
Once we got there we found the trail blocked by the trees that fell during the ice storm.
That didn't slow us down too much, we still enjoyed the creek and after climbing over and under trees we made it to the lake. The trail around the lake is completely blocked so we had to head back to the creek. When our adventure was finished, Daddy was taking his lunch break, so he came by and picked us up!
We have been outside almost all day, I think we are ready for all the rain we are going to get over the next couple of days.
